Third Grade - Mrs. Eberhardt

Classroom News

Week of October 22 - Monday, October 22, 2018

I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend. I spent the weekend in Boise and was able to go see the touring  Broadway show of Lion King!

This week, we will continue reading our October books.  We will not begin a new story.  Our vocab words will come from our Grammar mentor sentences.  We will also begin our new differentiated spelling lists.  Please contact me if you would like to know which spelling list your child is using.

We will continue working with weight this week in Math.  We will finish our test on Friday.

This week is also Red Ribbon Week.  We have events each day!

Important Dates This Week:
Monday
- Pledge Day (students sign a pledge to remain drug-free)
Tuesday - Sock it to Drugs (students may wear crazy socks and a hat to school)
Wednesday - Shade our Drugs (student may wear sunglasses to school).  It's also mass, so students must still wear red and no shorts or capris
Thursday - Team Spirit Day (students may wear any gear for the favorite team)
Friday - Spirit Wear Day (students may wear any of their St. Nicholas gear)

Favorite Bible Verse: '"I am the Alpha and the Omega,' says the Lord God, who is, who was, and who is to come, the Almighty." Revelation 1:8

I am privileged to work at St. Nicholas Catholic School. This school shaped me as a child and now I have the opportunity to teach young students that walk through our doors. I have a passion for reading and try to help all children find that joy within themselves. St. Nicholas is a family and I am proud to be a part of that!
