Week 21

This is going to be a great week of learning at St. Nicholas!  This week we are learning about Antartica in social studies, we will continue our work on the scientific in science and work on new stories in reading.  We will also be working on some individiual stories as well as writing.  Progress reports will go home on Tuesday, January 23.  We will be holding parent teacher conferences on Thursday January 25 from 3:30-6:00 and Friday January 26 from 8:00 Am until noon.  Because I was out on maturnity in the fall, I would like to meet with all of the parents of students in my class.  Please look for an email from me about scheduling times to meet.

We will not have school on Friday January 26.  We will have a spelling list this week and have the spelling test on Monday January 29.

Keep in mind that Catholic School's week is quickly approching.  We will be having many special activities and would love all students and families to particitpate!  Catholic Schools week will be January 28-February 2.

I am blessed for the opportunity to bring God into my classroom at St. Nicholas.  I believe that all children have God-given potential and I love to work with students and families to reach that potential.  I am excited to form an educational team with students, parents and teachers to enhance children's education at St. Nicholas and assist in setting up students for success in their future.
