Week 9

Happy Red Ribbon Week! We will be celebrating all week.  Red Ribbon week is a reminder to us to stay way from drugs and to not be a bully to others or ourselves.  We will also be studying the scientist William Harvey and the President John Taylor as well as working on the water cycle and a writing project about Faith.  We are busy in fourth grade! We will also have a Vocabulary and spelling list with tests just like always.

Next week is All Hallow's Eve followed by All Saint's Day.  We will celebrated All Hallow's Eve on Wednesday with a pizza party and costume parade.  Please check the family handbook for information on acceptable costumes. We will attend Mass on Thursday, November 1 for All Saint's Day and do some reading about saints.

The annual Gala is also approaching quickly.  Students will bring home packets this week.  Be sure and mark your calendars for Saturday November 10.

Favorite Bible Verse:  "Choose you this day whom you will serve.... But as for me and my house, we will serve The Lord." Joshua 24:15

I am blessed for the opportunity to bring God into my classroom at St. Nicholas.  I believe that all children have God-given potential and I love to work with students and families to reach that potential.  I am excited to form an educational team with students, parents and teachers to enhance children's education at St. Nicholas and assist in setting up students for success in their future.
